Aland buys Dyldam site from receivers as Stockland, UPG swoop

Privately owned Sydney developer Aland has led a $275 million swoop on big residential and logistics sites in Sydney after buying a large site in Merrylands offered for sale by receivers of companies in the Dyldam Group.

Joining Aland, ASX-listed Stockland has acquired two logistics sites in the inner south-west industrial precinct of Padstow for $128.5 million, and Urban Property Group has bought residential sites at Thornton in Penrith and at Edmonson Park in Sydney’s south-west from the NSW government’s Landcom agency for about $70 million.
