Patrick Ryan McCann recommends the following ideas:
Smoke bombs: You can use the outdoors for smoke bombs. But, make sure to avoid any flammable objects in the surroundings. Smoke bombs can give your images a surreal look and add colour to your photoshoot.
Costumes: An excellent choice for magazine editorial photo shoots. Even though costumes may not be as comfortable as fitness outfits, they make your photos look more fun.
Flour: You'll need a broom, a studio, and plenty of ventilation. This option is ideal for yogis and dancers. Your assistant, or a model, can throw flour around the shooting space as the model dances. Ideally, the lighting should be limited, and the background should be black. By doing so, your fitness photos will appear surreal and dramatic.
